About the Artist

Susan is one photographic artist who is inspired by her impressions of color, light and emotions. Never planning a photograph during her travels throughout the United States and Europe, she lets her eye be her guide in capturing graceful detailed images that say "I want to be there". With an emphasis outdoors in natural light, her work features a wide range of subject matter focusing on character and detail. Subjects include courtyards, gardens, sweeping landscapes and architectural details. The result is a beautiful and elegantly detailed reflection of the past in its present atmosphere. In full visual richness, images are enlarged on a grand scale, a full 20 x 30 inches, luring the viewer to step right into the scene.

A resident of Connecticut, Susan is an active member of the Art Society of Old Greenwich. Her work has been exhibited in several juried shows, earning many awards.
